NMD Was responsible for all graphics on this project. We were commissioned by Jcar to develop this one of a kind design in conjunction with Round 2/Auto World.

NMD Was responsible for the card art graphics on this project. We were commissioned by House Of Cars to develop this one of a kind design in conjunction with Round 2/Auto World for the Weekend of Wheels show Sacramento.

We worked closely with the Hot Wheels Design team to take the Custom Camaro casting designed by the legendary Hot Wheels designer Dwayne Vance and essentially “blow it up” to a 1:18 scale replica. The body of the car itself is a Mattel developed 3D resin print that came to us in rough print form (gray color with print lines)…..It was our job to essentially “breathe life” into the print and make this thing look like the real deal! This project is a prime example of what customizing means….(just on a larger scale)…we chopped, cut, sanded, painted, dremeled, polished, hand painted, and much much more! We barrowed parts from one thing…and borrowed parts from another.... to give the car that intimidating mean street stance that Dwayne had envisioned conceptualizing!…the paint is a deep heavy metallic flip flop blue into deep burple…We also added a small work bench in the corner where it looks like Vance just took a coffee break from drawing and mocking up a scale model of the car. We invisioned this as a sneak peek into “Vance’s Speed Shop”…with a led billboard on top showcasing whats inside!!… lastly, but just as important….on the backside….we made sure we didnt forget where this all started…so we only thought it was right to also dedicate this piece to the late great Chris Walker “Nightstalker”.

We were lucky enough to have our hands in Me and my partner in crime Angela Catteruccia had the absolute honor and opportunity to develop this dinner gift for the one and only Matt Gabe Nmd and Matt go way back!! When the Hot Wheels team reached out for us to step in and assit….it was OBVIOUSLY a no brainer!!! Matt loves K trucks and owns one himself….so we threw together a giant K truck “Hot Wheel” and the thing is even an R/C!!!….we added some super cool easter eggs which only Matt would “get” and as always we dedicated the piece to the late, great Nightstalker Chris Walker on the rear!! We know your here with us bro!! ….In any case..I have to admit… it was incredibly tough for me to hold back on the usual nmd wild and crazyness…and, keep it “Hot Wheels” traditional….Congratulations Matt on your success and achievements bro!!

We had the humbling honor to develop our own nmd styled Snake logo and dinner car for the one and only drag strip legend Don “The Snake” Prudhomme…what an honor, and, humbling experience meeting the man, the myth and legend himself!! AND hand delivering him his copy of the dinner car.
